​Hi, its lovely to meet you, my name is Sally here's a little bit about me…

I studied printed textiles in Leeds many moons ago where I found my love for embroidery. I have lived and worked in London, working in a wonderful tapestry embroidery store.

I am now based back in my home town in Staffordshire with my husband and daughter. 

I have a love for all things delicate, colourful, cute and floral.

My inspiration comes from flowers, antiques, floral pottery, and birds busying about.

I have developed my own style and created my signature embroidered birds. 

They appear on most of my designs being my favourite thing to stitch.

All my work is proudly produced with my hands. 

Ideas are sketched out, designs drawn onto tracing paper and transferred onto fabric to be embroidered.

I find the joy of creating one off personalised works that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Sew Sal's aim is to create joyful tactile items to be admired everyday, for a loved one or gifted to yourself.
